Gabriel was born in Lévis, Québec, and is the oldest of four sons. His father being a chaplain and deacon in the Canadian Armed Forces, Gabe lived in different cities growing up. He studied at the University of Ottawa where he earned three degrees, including a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Science—Biology. Gabe was involved in various ministries at St. Maurice Parish and St. Monica Parish, in Nepean (Ottawa), including the Alpha program. He has a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and is a committed adorer of the Blessed Sacrament. Gabe enjoys swimming, hiking, biking, and working with youth.
