Part 1 – We are Made for Eternal Life

Our ultimate goal is to spend eternity with God.

The Lord wants to inspire and encourage us to attain an eternal perspective: I’m made for eternal life and I’m made to invite as many people as possible to join in that eternal life.

There is an obstacle to living an enthusiastic spiritual life, a major vice that we need God’s grace to guard against. A vice that can rob us of our true identity of being made for more: the vice of acedia – sin against joy.

Presenter: Fr. Allan MacDonald, CC

Part 2 – Full and Abundant Lives

We are meant to thrive in the spiritual life.

God loves the world, but we all need to know God loves each one of us individually. Once we know the personal love of God, we change, and our life acquires a new meaning – the “more”.

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ opens the way to the Holy Spirit: “for he lives with you and will be in you” (Jn. 14:17).

Presenter: Fr. Ben St. Croix, CC

Part 3 – Living a Life of Freedom

We receive God’s power when we surrender our life to him.

There is a twisted understanding in our culture today that freedom means that I can do whatever I want. However, freedom is the ability to become the person God is calling us to be, to live a life of freedom according to his will and his purpose for our life.

We have the freedom to leave these attachments. When we ask for God’s help, we begin the spiritual process.

Part 4 – The Great Adventure

If you encounter the Lord, you are changed.

When we begin to cooperate with the essential plan of the Lord for each one of us, there is a deep sense of fulfilment and peace that comes into our soul because we know that God is doing something that is bigger than us. God uses each one of us to be a blessing to others.

What is the call that God has on your life? What is the divine purpose that God has for you.
