Jesus didn’t leave us stranded in the wilderness of death. Jesus came to Earth to face death head on.
We can experience an interior personal resurrection. We can experience new life from within. Whatever wilderness of death we are facing, where there is sin, shame, anxiety, or anger, Jesus wants to do something about it. He wants to breathe new life into it.
We can experience resurrection in Christ if we belief. Belief is all that is required.
This is what it means to be living in the now resurrection, to have God in the centre:
- They are at peace. You don’t have to wait for death to be at peace. They are rooted in Christ and they are unwavering.
- They experience joy that isn’t based on how good or bad things are going.
- God is clearly the centre. Looking to God, that is where we fix our gaze.
