St. John the Baptist was a model of the virtue of magnanimity. Magnanimity means greatness of soul. He wasn’t afraid of his greatness. He wasn’t afraid to do great things.
Being magnanimous requires simplicity, humility, and meekness.
We are made for greatness. There is greatness within us. Most of us are afraid of our greatness. You were made by a great God. Glorify the great God who made you by living magnanimously.
