God wants to empower us to go out full of grace, full of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, to proclaim the truth of the Gospel with knowledge and wisdom so hearts can be transformed and lives changed.
That is what the Ascension is about. He ascended into Heaven so that he could send the Holy Spirit upon us so that we could become the voice of God, the hands of God, the presence of God in the world.
Pray for an openness to the Holy Spirit. Today, ask God to remove whatever obstacles might be preventing you from receiving his grace and the Holy Spirit.
