Jesus cannot help us if we are proud. He will not hurt our pride without our permission. He will not do something against our ego without our permission.
Pride can cause us to miss out on what the Lord is doing right before our eyes.
When you are filled with yourself, you end up isolated, alone, depressed, angry or bitter. The results of pride are destructive.
