How did Jesus model his kingship?
He had a crown of thorns. He was mocked and had a purple cloak. He was scourged and spat upon. This is how Jesus chose to reveal his kingship to us, with humility.
It is in our humility that Jesus gives us the power and authority over all things that afflict us. Don’t forget that we are clothed with the power of God in the sacraments.
