When people reject God’s mercy they are left with justice unless there is repentance and conversion of heart.
Jesus offers us salvation. But, this gift requires a response, an ongoing response.
Rejoice because we can make that response. We are given the option to respond and receive mercy.
There is a gift being offered to us. We can accept the gift. We stand in need. Acknowledge sin. Repent. Go to confession. Accept mercy and forgiveness that God offers. We must follow and imitate Jesus.
There is no other way.
