Jonathan Conner

Born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Cincinnati in a vibrant Catholic family where charismatic prayer was familiar. His two siblings (including Matthew, one of our seminarians) inspired him in the faith, demonstrating genuine care, brotherhood, and trust in God. Early experiences, including a miraculous healing in fourth grade at a Charismatic prayer meeting, profoundly anchored his belief in God. Facing persecution for his faith, he transferred schools where he found authentic Catholic community and mentorship from priests and brothers. High school brought growth through sports, club volleyball challenges, youth group leadership, and impactful retreats. Despite hardships, including illness and the loss of loved ones, his faith strengthened, leading to deeper discernment about priesthood. Trips to Rome, involvement in missions with Ablaze Ministries and SPO, plus meaningful friendships intensified this calling. At Benedictine College, spiritual direction, brotherhood, and encounters with the Companions of the Cross affirmed his discernment journey.
