What does Pentecost and the Holy Spirit have to do with promises? God keeps his promises. Pentecost is about the fulfillment of a promise.
“But, the one thing that can never be taken from us is our relationship with Jesus, the presence of God in our lives.”
Sometimes we get stuck in our doubts.
“God do you even exist? Are you even listening to my prayers? Are you even real?”
Whatever we bring to Jesus he has to power to redefine and redeem. Close the distance to the cross. Surrender before him whatever causes disappointment. He wants to enter into and transform them...
Why does God let us feel like he is so far away after experiencing times of closeness? Why does God move us from the dazzle into the dark?
“We put limits on what God can do in us, through us, and for us.”
