Duli Amarasingha
Seminarian in Theology
I first heard my call to the priesthood with the Companions of the Cross 5 years ago, and since then, God has given me a burning love for the vision of renewal in the church and the priesthood instilled in our founder Fr. Bob.

Eran Amarasingha
Seminarian in Theology
Eventually the Lord put in my heart a desire to discern a vocation to the priesthood. He has been confirming it more and more ever since. I had already been discerning for the archdiocese of Toronto when I met Fr. Allan MacDonald at Christ the King Rally in Toronto in 2015. He invited me to check out the Companions of the Cross. When I came to see them at a ‘come-and-see’ visit at Assumption Farm, I knew instantly that this is where the Lord is calling me. I haven’t looked back since.

Gabriel Gauthier
Seminarian in Theology
Gabriel was born in Lévis, Québec, and is the oldest of four sons. He lived in different cities growing up, due to his father being a chaplain and deacon in the Canadian Armed Forces. He studied at the University of Ottawa where he earned three degrees, including a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Science—Biology. Gabriel was involved in various ministries at St. Maurice Parish and St. Monica Parish, in Nepean (Ottawa) before he joined the Companions of the Cross. He has a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and loves spending time in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Gabriel particularly enjoys playing music, learning new skills, spending time outside, and working with youth. He speaks English and French, and is learning Spanish.

Michael Horianopoulos
Seminarian in Theology
My dream is to be a priest along with my brother Companions, working with all of God’s people to build a flourishing Church! Together we can make Jesus known and loved, have beautiful spaces to celebrate joyfully, draw young people back to a secure loving relationship with their Father in heaven – a loving relationship I hope to echo with my priesthood.

Goerge Leberio
Seminarian in Theology
I fell away from the church in my teen years but by the grace of God through the witness of young Catholics in my university, I was able to experience the love of God. This type of love led me to put Jesus at the center of my life. This has been the greatest decision I have ever made in my life. I never looked back since but only sought after God’s plan for my life because I knew that it was going to bring me the greatest fulfillment and Joy. I can certainly testify that this is true of my life today.
