Jesus comes to us where we are, in those areas of our lives where the doors are locked, and he tells us peace be with you.
Where there is fear he brings peace. Where there is shame he brings freedom. Where there is darkness, he brings light and truth.
Today, on this feast of Divine Mercy, we are invited to do two things. We are invited to pray for ourselves and for other because prayer works. We are also invited to receive God’s mercy in the sacrament of confession. Don’t hold back from receiving God’s incredible gift of mercy.
The mercy of God changes our lives. There is no one like Jesus Christ.
