This Advent, imitate John the Baptist. Put a belt around your waist and have Jesus lead you to where he wants you to go.
If God allows for something, it is his providence. If he doesn’t allow for something, it is his protection.
What are some of the tried and true spiritual practices that I can commit to doing this Advent so I am cooperating with the Lord in developing and strengthening my spiritual muscles?
Welcome Jesus into every room of your life. Invite him to take from you that which is not of him. He wants to take away anything that is weighing us down or anything that is stopping us from encountering him.
Advent Challenge – Will I get up within the first minute of the alarm going off?
Advent is meant to be a time when we cooperate with the Lord in developing and conditioning our spiritual muscles.
Advent is our time to spiritually prepare to celebrate Christmas. Christmas is not the finish line.
This Advent, we have the opportunity to hear of the announcement, appearance, and coming of the king Jesus himself. He wants to be welcomed into each of our hearts.
