That they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in Heaven. 1 Pet 2:12
Three Points of the Homily:
1. We must not loose our saltiness. Salt is use for seasoning and preserving food. As Christians we need to good works to bring a distinctive taste to society and also to preserve the culture in going to moral decay.
2. We can not hide our light.
Our faith and good works must be seen and heard. There is a pressure in society to make our religion a private one and make us an invisible Christians.
3. Unbelievers will glorify God.
When people see our good works, we will be able to draw them close to God. At the same time they will also glorify God. Our faith must be shown in deeds because faith without works is dead. James 2: 14-17
